Caixa Economica Federal bank about Lottery Systems that time. The patents
for the Lottery games, systems and all computers, devices and peripherals
that were the platform compoents used for the Brazil Lottery systems.

- I was hired
to develop
and maintain system
softwares. This means to keep operating
systems, device
drivers and
firmwares. It was possible because
Mr. Simon Brayer decided to produce computers
and peripherals
not only for the lottery market
but also specially for commercial automation
market that was starting to grow that time
in Brazil.

- At the beginning
RACIMEC was the representative of TELSIST
microcomputers in Brazil and its solution
for star network topology.
I got the responsability to keep and customize the D.O.S
operating system, DIGITAL version, sold
to be installed into the TELSIST 8 bit
microcomputers. Also we got one version
of CPM operating system.

- Late, the
market for matrix printers were blowing in Brazil. Racimec was the leading
for small printers found in all ATM machines. CARLA was a special
printer for ATM machines. ITA matrix printers -100 cps was produced
to be sold for the microcomputer market that was starting to grow in
Brazil in that time. I got the opportunity to work into the team that
was creating our first brazilian graphical
matrix printer with 220 cps. I got the
job to write the firmware for this printer.
I spent more than one year doing this task. I wrote all software in
Intel 8080/8085 assembly language
and we decided to follow all Epson Graphical standard and features.
