  • Was a decision of Mr. Simon Brayer - CEO of  RACIMEC that the mission of RACIMEC Sistemas S.A. should be only Lottery Systems. Everything else should be moved to a new company named RACIMEC Racionalização and Mecanização. Also the ITAU Bank Group has bought stock quotes and has gotten participation and new executives were coming to participate at the company board.
  • That moment was bought one Elebra MX850 Midrange Computer running over VMS operating system (VAX machine of Digital with UNIX ) and the decision to create internal team to take care of Information Systems and Organization and Methods.
  • They did a internal survey to find out if somebody could have background and knowledge to lead this new team. I had again a good luck. They invited me to that position and I accepted it. I moved from Senior Software Analyst to the IT and O&M Manager position and also I moved from RACIMEC Sistemas to RACIMEC Racionalização.
  • I selected and hired people for the positions such as secretary, O&M Analyst, Application System Analysts and Programmers.
  • To develop the internal application systems we had to use C language. Late I integrated the MX850 VAx machine environment with the QNX Local Area Network. We have developed applications such as Accouting, Financial
